Yasnora AI for Chrome

Privacy Policy

Effective: 22 August 2026 · Last updated: 22 August 2026

Information processed

The extension processes account and workspace identifiers needed to authenticate the user and provide chats. It can process selected text, the visible text of the active page, its title, links, and URL only after the user explicitly chooses to share or save that material.

When page access occurs

The extension does not read pages continuously or in the background. Access is initiated by a visible user action, such as enabling “Include this page”, choosing a Yasnora context-menu command, or selecting “Save page”. Pages containing password or payment fields and restricted browser addresses are refused.

How information is used

Shared content is sent only to Yasnora AI to answer the user’s request or, when explicitly requested, to save material in the selected workspace knowledge base. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to third parties.

Storage and retention

The access token and temporary selection draft are stored in Chrome session storage and are removed when the browser session ends or the user signs out. Chats and knowledge items deliberately created by the user follow the retention and deletion controls of the selected Yasnora AI workspace.

Sharing and service providers

Information is disclosed only to infrastructure and AI providers required by the user’s Yasnora workspace configuration and subject to its privacy and routing controls. Yasnora does not sell or transfer extension data for advertising, data-broker, or unrelated purposes.

Security

The extension uses Manifest V3, a fixed HTTPS Yasnora origin, PKCE authentication, a restricted API route allowlist, bounded page extraction, and no remote executable code. It does not request browsing history, cookies, downloads, clipboard, debugger, webRequest, native-messaging, or all-sites access.

User choices

Users can decline page sharing, remove saved workspace content using Yasnora controls, sign out to clear the extension session, or uninstall the extension. Workspace administrators may also disable page sharing and knowledge capture through managed Chrome policies.

Controller and contact

Yasnora AI is operated by Wicsora LLC (ООО «Виксора»). Privacy questions and requests may be sent to privacy@yasnora.ai. Security reports may be sent to security@yasnora.ai, and product support requests to support@yasnora.ai.
