How it works

Artifacts are generated output files: documents, spreadsheets, presentations or PDFs. They remain drafts until you review them.

Before you start

Choose the required output format, intended reader and source material before creating an artifact. Confirm that you may use every supplied asset and decide which facts, calculations and layout details require human review.

What to do

1. Specify the intended format, audience and required structure.
2. Generate the file using an available capability.
3. Open the output and inspect content, layout, formulas and accessibility.
4. Download or share the reviewed version with the intended recipients.

Verify the result

Check the actual file, not only the chat summary. If generation fails, retain the visible support reference and verify format support and allowance before retrying.

If it does not work

If preview or export fails, keep the source material, inspect the visible error and retry with a smaller or simpler structure. Create a new version instead of overwriting an accepted file. Artifact Studio is Early Access and does not promise full office-suite layout compatibility.
