Logical modes

Auto selects an eligible route using policy, capability, availability and budget. Fast is optimized for short everyday responses. Deep supports more thorough work and may take longer or use more allowance.

Private/Local stays in the configured private boundary and stops if no eligible route exists. Hybrid may allow a declared external route for eligible content. External uses an explicitly allowed external route.

Names describe logical modes, not a promise about a physical model or provider. A consumer subscription to another AI service is not an API credential or Yasnora entitlement.

02

Processing boundary

Workspace roles, processing modes and policy govern access and data handling. Generated output must be reviewed before it is trusted or used to change external systems.

Private/Local keeps work within the configured private boundary; Hybrid and External require permitted external processing. Export, retention and deletion follow workspace policy and applicable requirements.

03

Capability availability

Voice input needs browser microphone permission and an available speech route. Speech recognition produces a transcript; speech playback reads a response.

WICSAI_LOCAL_SPEECH_UNAVAILABLE means an eligible local speech runtime is absent. Use text, or deliberately choose another permitted route; privacy mode should not switch silently.
